King City Civic Association Resolution: Association Facilities 2012-207
SOLICITATION ON ASSOCIATION PROPERTY
CC&Rs Article VI, Section 2.E;
By a vote of the Board of Directors at its March 16, 2010 meeting, a motion passed to provide the City of King City Chief of Police with a key and access to Association facilities in case of local emergency which may include non-Association citizens. This also allows the City of King City to have access to Association equipment in case of such emergency. The Board further will work with and support the City's "Community Emergency Response Team" (CERT) plan in the event of a major catastrophe or local emergency. The Association may develop its own emergency plan to accommodate its Association members, without conflicting with or overriding the City's CERT program.
The City is responsible for maintaining the Association facilities' key(s) and will advise the Administrator where and by whom the key is being held at City Hall.
IT IS RESOLVED this ___ day of February 2012 by a majority vote of the Board of Directors and effective upon distribution of the Association's March 2012 Newsletter
